Unless you are concerned about shooting landscapes for galleries and prints of couple feet on the side this article isn't for you. You may get something out of it, but all the talk about 4 x 5" large format film should bore you first. Moreover the author seems like he doesn't "get" digital sometimes like when he complains about its inability to do multiple exposures, something that trivially done in post production.

The discussion on highlights being blown out in digital because brightness is linear in digital rather than logarithmic like in film is interesting.

Ken Rockwell strikes a nice balance between pro-level and enthusiast-level discussions. Too bad he shoots Nikon. ;) j/k
